Polo has been a large part of Spencer Jordan's life since he was a young boy growing up in Connecticut. Spencer's father, Leighton Jordan, is a US Polo Association governor and started Saratoga Polo Club in upstate New York in the 1970's, and then helped found the Greenwich Polo Club in Connecticut. These connections to the polo world allowed Spencer to travel widely, competing in tournaments and matches in New England, England, Jamaica, Canada, Florida, South Carolina, the Hamptons, and Colorado. Of these destinations, Colorado is his favorite state.

Don't get the idea that Spencer was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. A graduate of Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Spencer paid his way through college by managing a ranch between Gunnison and Crested Butte, and he has worked at a number of high-end ranches. He has worked from the barn to the playing field, shoveling stalls as a polo groom for such well-known polo entities as the Gracida family and playing for the well-known Yale Polo and several other sponsored teams. Spencer has worked as a mechanic, driver, heavy equipment operator, reservation agent, marketing coordinator at a film production company, and even helped tailor polo clothing. Spencer enjoys buying, fixing, and flipping basically anything with a motor--dirt bikes, snowmobiles, trucks, tractors, boats, and cars.

Spencer has chosen to make his home in Colorado, where many polo teams congregate in the Aspen area. The Aspen polo scene brings people from all over the world, in a place where celebrities, hedge fund managers, athletes, entertainers, and the jet set like to congregate. That being said, Spencer prefers wearing cowboy boots and a Western hat, and is at home on mountain properties, ranches, farms, and income properties all over Colorado and the West. He brokers luxury ranches, ski properties, equestrian farms, and investment properties.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Dan Vigeant grew up with a love of adventure and a passion for the outdoors. He grew up snowmobiling, playing hockey, and boating on the many lakes in Western Massachussetts. His love of adventure inspired him to one day move to Colorado. After high school, he fulfilled this aspiration and moved to the small town of Gunnison, Colorado, where he enrolled at Western State Colorado University. Dan went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.

A couple of years in Steamboat Springs before becoming a licensed Colorado real estate agent

After receiving his degree, Dan moved to Steamboat Springs, CO and worked as a salesman for an electrical wholesaler business for two years. He was known for providing quality service to many different contractors in Steamboat. In conversations with UCCB agents Jake Hubbell and Spencer Jordan, he realized that he might enjoy a career as a real estate agent, so he started studying for his license and moved to Hotchkiss to join up with Jake and Spencer as they tackle interesting projects across Western Colorado and other states. He has already become involved in several interesting listings, such as a Western saloon, an award-winning winery, and a couple of country homes with acreage.

Dan is the kind of guy who makes the most of where he lives. He loves the recreational opportunities that come with living in the Colorado Rockies. Dan is a passionate mountain biker, an expert snowmobiler, a very good snowboarder, he loves to ride dirt bikes, and over the past couple of winters he has taken up skiing as well. Since joining United Country Colorado Brokers, he has started to learn about hunting and fly-fishing, and no doubt he will become expert at those pursuits as well.
