People often ask me why I chose United Country Real Estate | Heritage Brokers & Auctioneers.
When I joined, I knew the company specialized in rural properties and that I had found a great group of people. What I didn't realize at first was that I was already living what our company believes.
I love camping, cabins in the woods, lake living and if time allowed, I'd be fishing every day. I enjoy helping prepare hunting properties, watching the migration of waterfowl, and capturing wildlife through my camera lens. I appreciate old cars like the two I drive, old traditions, vintage items, an old quilt, unique things and small towns, the simple way of life.
That's also why I stay in my lane.
There are great agents who specialize in big city neighborhoods, townhomes, duplexes, ect and I'm happy to refer those properties to them. My passion is serving the people and places I know best—from Smithville Lake to Truman Lake. I specialize in country homes, farms, land, acreage, hunting properties, recreational land, lake homes, commercial properties, small businesses, and one-of-a-kind properties that deserve a story as unique as they are.
With roots in small-town Missouri and years of experience as a small business owner, I've always believed relationships come before transactions. Long before real estate, I was helping families with estate sales, personal property, cleanouts and the difficult decisions that often come with life's changes. Becoming a real estate agent allowed me to complete that circle and help families with the property, too.
Today, I work with people in all seasons of life—from someone excited to find their little piece of the country to a family facing hard decisions about a home, farm or land that has been part of their story for generations.
I believe some of the best conversations happen around the kitchen table, the porch or a bench outside the barn. That's where I can listen to your story, understand what matters to you and help you figure out what comes next. Sometimes there's laughter and reminiscing. Sometimes there are tears. Together we will come up with the best solution for the situation at hand.
Because to me, real estate has never been just about the property. It's about the people, the memories and the life that happened there.
